The search engine brings up whatever letters you enter, so "cat" also leads to "catch" or similar, and also pulls up cards with those letters in the (hidden) key words. Just be aware. And yes, we do enter the same card in more than one category to help concentrate choices for collectors who specialise. You should only really notice this if you use the search engine, though.
